About The Opportunity
We are looking for an MRI Tech who takes pride in delivering exceptional imaging quality and patient care. In this role, you'll perform MRI and X-ray examinations, support smooth workflow across the department, and play a key part in providing a seamless, compassionate patient experience.
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (varied day shifts)
Location: Beautiful Vail Valley, CO
What You’ll Do
- Perform all MRI and radiographic exams in accordance with Vail Health protocols.
- Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure timely submission to radiologists.
- Ensure patient identification, documentation, and exam orders are accurate and consistent.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, providers, and care teams to support continuity of care.
- Maintain department standards in confidentiality, safety, infection control, radiation protection, and quality assurance.
- Utilize Vail Health's HIS and PACS systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.
- Keep exam rooms clean, orderly, and stocked; monitor supplies and notify staff when needed.
- Serve as a role model of Just Culture principles.
- Other duties as assigned; must maintain HIPAA compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of MRI Tech experience preferred
- ARRT registry in radiography required
- Previous healthcare experience required
- ARRT RT(R)(MR)
- BLS Certification
- Completion of all educational and clinical requirements for ARRT eligibility.
