Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pasta and pizzas with precision, including ingredient preparation utilizing, but not limited to, poaching, braising, and grilling.
- Assist in menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency and quality across all meals served
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling techniques and adhering to dietary department standards
- Support fast paced dinner service by managing multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Participate in food safety management practices, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils regularly
Skills
- Food production experience that emphasizes presentation, flavor balance, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Solid food safety knowledge including sanitizing procedures and food handling protocols
- Experience with high-volume production environments requiring quick turnaround times without compromising quality
- Strong knife skills coupled with expertise in various cooking methods like cooking, food industry practices, and recipe adherence
- Background in restaurant or catering settings demonstrating excellent food service experience and culinary versatility
Hours
- Tuesday - Thursday: 2 pm - 10 pm
- Friday & Saturday: 2 pm - 11 pm
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
