Location is Galveston, Texas. This is an ONSITE role. You must be willing to relocate or commute for this position.
This is not an office job. You will be leading from the front within the terminal every day.
This role will be expected to transition into the President for the terminal at some point.
Hiring date will be Q2 2026 but there will be long interview runway leading up to this.
Our client is seeking a Senior operational leader overseeing tank farms, dry bulk, warehousing, trucking, rail, marine docks, and pipeline connectivity.
The ideal candidate will balance strategic planning with field presence to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Direct succession path to President within 8 years.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead all terminal and pipeline operations.
- Translate corporate goals into actionable operational strategies.
- Drive continuous-improvement initiatives using data and analytics.
- Oversee daily / weekly / monthly review cadence.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance scorecards.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance (TCEQ, EPA, USCG, FRA, DOT Pipeline).
- Serve as Incident Commander under ICS framework.
- Develop managers and structured training programs.
- Partner with President and commercial teams on pricing and growth.
- Champion automation and infrastructure resilience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).
- 10 years operations leadership / 5 senior management.
- Proven OPEX / CAPEX discipline.
- Regulatory and HESS expertise.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
