Business Development Manager (BDM) – Vaden Automotive
Vaden Automotive is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic team at our Bluffton, South Carolina dealerships. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a team that serves as the first point of contact for internet, phone, and live chat inquiries. Your focus will be on driving customer engagement and scheduling sales appointments while upholding the high level of service Vaden is known for.

What You’ll Do:
- Respond promptly to internet, phone, and live chat leads using provided scripts to assist with vehicle availability and pricing.
- Build rapport with potential customers, understand their needs, and guide them toward booking an appointment with the sales team.
- Track and achieve daily appointment-setting goals.
- Follow up with leads who are not ready to buy to keep them engaged in the sales process.
- Supervise, train, and support the BDC (Business Development Center) team.
- Manage team scheduling to ensure full coverage and performance.
- Attend weekly management meetings to report on performance and discuss strategy.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Prior experience in automotive BDC is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right person!
- Proven leadership or management experience is required.
- Background in customer service or call center environments is helpful.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, goal-oriented attitude with strong follow-through.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-based setting.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
