VAD is currently seeking a Warehouse/Driver Associate at our Fredericksburg, VA branch.

Responsibilities:

• Provide fast and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers
• Handle incoming and outgoing inventory, including unloading trucks, receiving materials, performing quality inspections, and putting away stock.
• Support local deliveries as needed and assist with customer pickups.
• Pick, stage, and load customer orders with attention to accuracy and damage prevention.
• Service customers at the Will Call counter, ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
• Process warehouse transfers, UPS shipments, and incoming deliveries.
• Perform monthly cycle counts, maintain accurate bin locations, and support overall inventory organization.
• Complete required paperwork accurately, including freight bills, hazmat forms, and other documentation.
• Achieve established productivity goals while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
• Comply with all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, neat, and organized warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, including RF scanners.
• Forklift experience with certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC products, parts, and supplies, or experience in the building industry.
• Ability to multitask with ease and to meet deadlines with great accuracy
