Overview
Vacu-Braze, Inc. is a specialty thermal processing company service aerospace, medical, defense, power generation, and industrial customers throughout the United States. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Operations Associate to support operations in our Bulk Vacuum and Atmosphere Processing departments. This is a hands on role responsible for fixturing jobs for heat treat, unloading heat treat loads, testing processed product, and utilizing a forklift for handling tasks.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work in a fast paced environment. This is an excellent position for a candidate looking to learn about a specialized industry.
Duties
- Load and unload customer product for vacuum and atmosphere furnaces
- Assemble furnace loads utilizing best practice fixturing methods
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to assist with material handling
- Assist furnace operators and supervisors with daily production activities
- Participate in hardness testing of processed work
- Properly document work performed on job travelers
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and customer service teams
- Follow all stated safety procedures and make suggestions for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. consistently
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with elevated temperatures
- Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
