Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to keep our high-speed manufacturing and flexible packaging equipment running safely and at peak performance. In this role, you will handle preventative maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, machine setup, and continuous improvement projects across our manufacturing plant.

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, maintain, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across production equipment.
• Setup & Operations: Perform machine setups, product line changeovers, and cleanup while ensuring compliance with job specifications and product performance standards.
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect equipment routinely, maintain machine health, and operate machine shop tools to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks to optimize material flow and improve machine speed, efficiency, and uptime.
• Facility Support: Assist with general building and infrastructure maintenance as required.
• Safety & Workplace Standards: Strict adherence to company safety policies, maintaining an organized and clean workspace, and fostering a collaborative, positive team culture.
  

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Flexographic Experience: Prior experience with flexographic printing or flexible packaging machinery is a strong plus.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED (equivalent practical trade experience will be considered).
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow precise technical specifications.
• Language Skills: English required; Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
