Senior Accountant - Investment Accounting

Nashville, TN | Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Vaco is partnering with a highly respected, global financial services organization to hire a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. This is a high-visibility opportunity offering exposure to complex accounting areas, strong leadership, and excellent long-term growth potential.

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Prepare P&L and balance sheet analysis and reporting
• Support consolidation adjustments and financial reporting
• Assist with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Partner cross-functionally with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Legal, IT, and other business units
• Help drive process improvements and participate in special projects
• Gain exposure to investment accounting and other complex accounting areas
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a large or high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and debits/credits
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large sets of data and identify process improvements
• CPA, financial services experience, and systems migration experience are all a plus, but not required
