Role
As a quality assurance analyst, your role will be to carry out various software testing activities, and to plan and execute functional and acceptance tests on deliverables related to policy insurance platform. You will work to improve our delivery quality through testing and defect analysis. Depending on deliverable scope, this could involve several teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the preparation of deliverable tests and associated documents and provide support during these tests. Prepare test cases, test matrices and reports, and any other document required in your area based on Intact's standards, processes and procedures.
- Identify, document and work closely with the product owner (PO), Business Analyst, the developers and the scrum master to resolve issues by performing sufficient analysis to determine the root cause of defects, as required.
- Examine, analyze and assess business requirements to prepare test plans and test cases.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in an innovative environment within a large and complex organization.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to work in an ever-changing IT environment and with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to communicate technical terminologies in non-technical language and vice versa.
- Skills sought: Integrity, respect, committed, responsible, customer and results oriented.
- Knowledge of Cucumber
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
- Knowledge of Perfecto is an asset
- Knowledge of the insurance sector: an asset.
- English speaking, French speaking is an asset
