OverviewSenior-level Network Engineer responsible for full lifecycle ownership of enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-location environment. This role leads design, implementation, optimization, security, and ongoing support of complex networks.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn LAN / WAN / WLAN / SDWAN & data center network architecture
Manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and security infrastructure
Lead network design (IP strategy, QoS, routing, capacity planning)
Oversee monitoring tools (SolarWinds or similar)
Minimize downtime through proactive troubleshooting and performance analysis
Participate in vendor coordination, cost analysis, and budgeting
Maintain documentation, standards, and SLA reporting
Participate in on-call rotation
7 years enterprise network administration (multi-site)
4 years senior-level experience
Leadership experience required
Strong firewall experience (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.)
Cisco enterprise infrastructure (Nexus, UCS, NX-OS)
Advanced routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP)
Network security (ACLs, VPNs, IPsec, Port Security)
VMware, storage networking, multi-pathing
Monitoring & performance tools
Hands-on senior engineer
Strong troubleshooting & fault isolation skills
Comfortable in high-pressure environments
Strong communication & cross-functional collaboration
Documentation-driven and process-oriented

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
