Jr. Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant:

Growing international distribution company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation and grow into a Senior Accountant role over time.

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support financial statement preparation
• Assist with audit requests and documentation
• Work closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller on various accounting projects
• Learn advanced accounting functions including intercompany accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency transactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Experience with Sage 100 or NetSuite is a plus
• Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
