$180,000 - $200,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Vaco has partnered with a SaaS company to hire their next Controller. This role will lead the company's accounting operations while driving process transformation, system improvements, and post-acquisition integration efforts within a high-growth environment. You'll partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen reporting, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's continued scalability. Responsibilities include:

• Lead transformation and standardization of accounting policies, controls, and workflows to improve consistency, accuracy, and operational discipline across the organization.
• Oversee full accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, revenue accounting, AP, and project-based billing to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Drive improvements in billing, collections, dispute resolution, and working capital by partnering with Sales, Operations, Legal, and executive leadership.
• Lead finance systems enhancements and post-acquisition integrations to improve scalability, reporting consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Manage audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and internal control environment while serving as key liaison for external auditors, tax, tax advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or related field required
• CPA license required
• Private Equity backed company experience required
• M&A and acquisition due diligence experience required
