Role Description
We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian for part-time weekend shifts, at our pop-up outdoor vaccine clinics at parks throughout Los Angeles, CA.
We have 3-4 clinics a day at different parks, each clinic is 1.5 hours with 30 min breaks in between clinics for travel and setup.
The Veterinarian will be responsible for wellness checks to ensure pet health before vaccination and guiding pet owners with education and advice based on pet needs.
The role includes collaborating with veterinary technicians, ensuring compliance with best practices, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating animals, along with proficiency in preventive care and vaccination protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, offering compassionate guidance and education about their animal's health.
- Capable of collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited college.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in California.
- Previous experience in vaccine administration and general practice is a plus.
Compensation
$125/hour included travel and setup time between clinics.
