The Speech and Language Therapist is directly responsible to the Director of Special Education. The primary function of this position is to identify and remediate communication disorders of students.

VUSD is seeking several Speech and Language Pathologists. Pre-K through Grade 12 . Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Credential is required. Please attach copy of your credential or verification of credential status, resume, and three letters of recommendation. For credential questions, please email credentials@vacavilleusd.org
This is for the 2026-27 School year $1879 additional pay for your Masters *$1879 additional pay for your Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or doctorate Speech-Language Pathology Credential = $3594 additional yearly stipend Separate Salary Schedule for our Speech and Language Pathologists Speech-Language Pathologists have flexible work hours outside of the instructional day and when not mandated to attend training and/or an IEP meeting within their duty day
