JOB DESCRIPTION
Hourly
Reports To: General and Assistant General Manager
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, Saturday and Sunday- OFF
Full Time - year around availability with full benefits
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Guest satisfaction.
2. Providing a safe environment for guests using resort amenities.
3. Coordination and execution of scheduled activities and supervision of resort amenities.
4. Work scheduled shifts as assigned.
5. Assist and instruct guests in the proper use of equipment.
6. Provide guests with the proper information and service regarding the use of resort
amenities.
7. Proper bookkeeping and accounting of equipment rentals and merchandise programs.
8. Handle guest complaints and problems in a courteous professional manner.
9. Knowledgeable of Resort, local area, attractions, and directions.
10. CPR, Water Safety and First Aid certification would be a big plus.
11. Keep areas free of trash.
12. Maintain a professional, friendly attitude and appearance at all times.
13. Proper attire (uniforms) as directed.
14. Handle all telephone conversations in a professional and courteous manner.
15. Performance of other related duties as directed by the General Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Requirements:
1. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with diverse groups of people.
2. Good verbal communication skills.
3. Physical ability to perform scheduled activities and events.
4. Willingness to coordinate the variety of activities and functions.
5. Manual dexterity and coordination to safely perform the following: standing, bending, minimal lifting, twisting, pushing and pulling and lifting up to 35 lbs.
6. Coordination and dexterity to walk at least 2 miles per day, including up & down stairs.
Working Conditions:
Hours worked may vary as to the seasons. Attendance is expected when scheduled. Knowledge of all Resort and company policies in place or established during employment. Employees are expected to represent the Resort in a professional and courteous manner at all times during their scheduled work shifts.
