We are a small but growing vacation rental management company committed to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of property care. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head of Housekeeping to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Head of Housekeeping will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations across multiple vacation rental properties. This role includes scheduling cleanings, inspecting properties after cleanings, maintaining housekeeping supplies, and ensuring that each property is guest-ready at all times. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and takes pride in delivering quality service.
Duties Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the cleaning schedule for all vacation rental properties.
- Conduct detailed inspections after each cleaning to ensure quality and consistency.
- Document and report any general maintenance issues observed during inspections.
- Monitor the condition of linens and arrange replacements as needed.
- Maintain and restock supply chests with all necessary items for cleaners, including toiletries, cleaning products, and guest essentials (e.g., parking passes).
- Receive and organize incoming items/supplies, ensuring they are distributed and placed in the correct properties as needed.
- Train, support, and communicate with the housekeeping team to uphold company standards.
- Serve as the point of contact for housekeeping staff and provide feedback or coaching as needed.
- Work closely with management to improve efficiency and address operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping management, hospitality, or vacation rental IS A MUST.
- Must be available from 10am - 4pm on Saturdays.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between properties.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
