Overview
The Property Care Specialist is essential in ensuring that our guests and owners have an amazing first impression of our homes. This position ensures compliance with cleaning standards and other quality assurance features, makes necessary adjustments as needed to ensure properties are guest ready and presentable, delivers items to properties and troubleshoots issues that may arise during guest stays.
What You'll Do
- Conduct pre-arrival inspections using the VRC standard inspection checklist, confirming every home is properly prepared and guest-ready
- Uphold our cleaning and hygiene standards ahead of every arrival, making adjustments as needed
- Replenish toiletries and guest supplies
- Sweep porches and decks before guests arrive
- Handle minor maintenance on the spot (light bulbs, batteries) and escalate bigger issues to the right team
- Troubleshoot minor tech issues with TVs and WiFi, and coordinate with third-party providers when needed
- Take care of basic snow removal on small areas like decks and steps
- Manage and deliver supplies and linens to homes, and reorder inventory when stock runs low
- Deliver items to guests mid-stay and run errands as needed
- Maintain the company vehicle
- Pitch in on other duties as they come up — no two days look quite the same

Experience & requirements
- 1–3 years in a similar role
- Experience in property management, vacation rentals, or hotels preferred; housekeeping and general maintenance experience in a vacation rental setting is a big plus
- Prior experience with hospitality or booking software preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant professional certifications and/or experience may substitute)
This is a full-time. It may require working on nights, weekends, and holidays. A vehicle will be provided as part of the position. Although most guests are reasonable, it may require working with challenging guests at times.
Pay: $57,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
