What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Inspector position at Vacation Rental Brands, LLC?
As an Inspector at Summit County Mountain Retreats, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vacation rental properties are maintained to the highest standards for our guests and property owners. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create exceptional experiences for our guests while supporting our commitment to quality and excellence. We are looking for a fast paced, detail-oriented housekeeping inspector to inspect vacation rental properties on a contract bases. In this role, you will evaluate properties for compliance with company standards. You will check commonly used items like tv controllers, drawers, door handles, and faucets to ensure they are functioning properly. You will also check to ensure the property has all items promised to guests by our company. You may be required to perform small maintenance repairs in the event that you detect one during an inspection. You will communicate large maintenance repairs, and other important findings, to the respective departments upon completion of your inspection.
Schedule:
5-day work week – unless otherwise noted in offer letter
Typical business hours are 9am-5pm.
Weekend availability is a must.
Some on call shifts may be required.
Flexibility to adapt to business needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, kneel, and squat frequently to inspect properties, check appliances, and perform minor repairs.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, for tasks such as delivering supplies or moving furniture.
- Stamina to walk and stand for extended periods while conducting property inspections and overseeing cleaning processes.
- Dexterity and coordination to handle tools and equipment for small maintenance tasks.
- Ability to navigate stairs, uneven terrain, and various property layouts to access all areas of the properties being managed.
- Visual acuity to identify maintenance issues, cleanliness standards, and inventory levels during inspections.
- Ability to navigate stairs and climb ladders to access various areas of the properties, including attics, roofs, and high shelves
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors frequently, adapting to varying temperatures, including hot and cold weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in the vacation rental industry. (Requested but not required)
