The Short-Term Rental Property Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of properties before and after guest stays. This role ensures homes are guest-ready, properly maintained, and compliant with company standards. The ideal candidate is organized, observant, and takes pride in maintaining high-quality environments.
Core Duties:
- Complete thorough walkthroughs of each property before guest check-in and after check-out
- Spot any concerns related to cleanliness, upkeep, safety hazards, or missing inventory
- Record all observations through photographs and comprehensive write-ups
- Report shortcomings to the appropriate housekeeping, repair, and supervisory staff
- Confirm that requested repairs and cleaning fixes have been carried out
- Make sure each unit is fully staged and ready to welcome guests
- Carry out routine inventory counts and restocking reviews
