What are the responsibilities and job description for the Booking Specialist position at Vacation HR?
As a member of the Reservations Team, you play a vital role in creating exceptional vacation experiences for our guests. From the moment a guest begins planning their stay to the time they check in—and even during their visit—you will be a trusted point of contact who helps ensure their trip is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.
In this role, you will assist guests with questions, booking requests, and reservation needs through phone, email, and text in real time. You will guide guests through the booking process, provide helpful information about properties and destinations, and assist with any concerns that may arise before arrival or during their stay.
Reservations team members work across multiple systems and collaborate with various internal and external departments to ensure guests receive timely support and a high level of service throughout the entire guest lifecycle.
This position is responsible for handling all aspects of reservations, including quoting stays, booking reservations, processing transfers or moves, managing required guest documentation, and coordinating cancellations or refunds when necessary. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality that aligns with the company’s culture, motto, and standard operating procedures.
Sign-On Bonus
This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus!
- $250 will be paid on your first paycheck.
- $250 will be paid after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
Bonus payments are subject to standard payroll taxes and require the employee to be actively employed and in good standing at the time of payout.
