Client is seeking an experienced SSRS Report Writer to support reporting and analytics across both mortgage servicing and loan origination functions. This role will focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining operational and executive-facing reports leveraging SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and mortgage data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards supporting:
- Loan origination (applications, pipelines, underwriting, funding)
- Mortgage servicing (payments, escrow, delinquency, payoff, investor reporting)
- Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and transform reporting data
- Partner with business stakeholders (servicing, origination, compliance, finance) to gather and translate reporting requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
- Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data/reporting issues
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and build reusable reporting assets
- Document report logic, data sources, and business definitions
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and audit support (regulatory reporting as needed)
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience developing reports using SSRS
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server / T-SQL
- Experience working with mortgage industry data, including:
- Loan origination systems (LOS)
- Servicing platforms
- Solid understanding of mortgage lifecycle (application servicing)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
- Experience with data validation and troubleshooting discrepancies
