This full-time, onsite position serves as a Cyberseminar Coordinator within the Center for Information Dissemination and Education Resources (CIDER) (https://www.hsrd.research.va.gov/centers/cider.cfm), Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development, Health Systems Research (https://www.hsrd.research.va.gov/) CIDER's mission is to improve the health and care of Veterans by disseminating important findings and information from health systems and other medical and healthcare research to policymakers, managers, clinicians, and researchers throughout VA and the larger healthcare community.
The purpose of this position is to provide project management, technical, and communications support for the HSR/ORD Cyberseminar Program (https://www.hsrd.research.va.gov/cyberseminars/) under HSR’s national research program. The position requires a diverse range of organizational, communication, and computer technology skills to host webinars designed to disseminate information about research findings, accomplishments, and improve VA healthcare quality, organization/delivery, and efficiency. Training in the WebEx webinar hosting platform will be provided. The Cyberseminar Coordinator works closely with designated points of contact within the VA Health Systems Research structure to obtain relevant information to build, promote, host, and provide post-session reports on webinars presented by health systems researchers within VA. HSR/ORD Cyberseminars are an important and popular subset of the dissemination content CIDER provides for policymakers, managers, clinicians, and researchers throughout VA and beyond.
Applicants must be US citizens and must clear a US government background check. A bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree with a major in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences, or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position is required (master’s level preferred).
