Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision from Site Leadership, performs supervisor tasks overseeing technicians that will complete device repairs and corrective maintenance for incoming and/or backlog of Ground TES MILES. Includes tracking of Return Material Authorizations to OEM and vendors
- May be required upon notification from the Site Manager to support other devices as needed
- Responsible for all Ground TES MILES repair operations oversight at Fort Polk, LA. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the repair functions to ensure repairs for all incoming Ground TES MILES and other related TES devices complete and Contractor Performance Factor (CPF) are met.
- Repairs are made on time within quality assurance standards to meet Contractor Performance requirements. Oversees related projects and activities, manages timelines, coordinates tasks, and adjusts plans as necessary to meet objectives. Leads and manages the personnel assigned to the repair shops including recruiting, training, professional development, performance evaluation, and well-being of team members within guidelines as directed by the Site Manager
- Follow up on securing parts through the V2X supply chain. Tracks parts and initiates follow up, follow on action to secure bench stock to include end item components, LRU (Line Replaceable Unit). Works with Logistics and Warehouse teams to have positive control over repair process and delivery of Fully Mission Capable Ground TES MILES, parts, components, upon arrival at JRTC and return to the Army Training Support Center (TSC)
- Works with the FOCUS Center Managers, Site Managers at all OCONUS, CONUS Staffed and Unstaffed locations to include the Field Operations Depot Director to resource and support Ground TES MILES requirements as needed to meet repair standards, return of repaired items in accordance with contractual requirements to meet Contractor Performance Factor
- Maintenance is performed following technical manuals and repair checklists. Follows and adheres to the Quality Management, quality assurance plan for MILES
- Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE / Maximo
- Oversight of device set up and TADSS testing to confirm they are Fully Mission Capable, Ready For Training, including interoperability and operation verification
- Monitors hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail. Monitors software and participates upon direction from the Site Manager to install and/or test
- Adheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location
- Oversees modifications or upgrade as per manufacturer's instructions and required
- Develops equipment and system test plans. Oversight of using common test equipment (e.g. digital and Ethernet test sets, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters/analyzers)
- Drafts and edits minutes, documents, letters, and other communications

Required Experience
- Background with operation and repair of TES Devices, specifically MILES
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Has collected data and provided metrics and other reports to support programs
- Experience inputting and updating data in InSITE or other MIS Suite.
- Maintained accurate program records and files
- Experience leveraging templates for efficient project tracking and reporting.
- Has managed calendars and scheduled appointments and meetings in the past.
