Responsibilities include:
- Recommends, develops, implements improvements for the practice maintaining high patient satisfaction and excellent management of patient referral relationships.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
- Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.
- Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management in conjunction with the practice bookkeeper and CPA. Strong analytical skills, a must.
- Oversees business technology and systems, to included but not limited to EHR and PM software solutions, social media, website coordination, business applications and other resources as required.
- Manages the office within the established budget, including annual planning, and develops monthly status reports.
- Plans and directs registration, patient insurance, billing and collections, and data processing to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collection.
- Provides human resources management functions, aided by the V2V Management Solution Executive Team. Oversees efforts for recruitment, development, performance evaluation of employees. This includes staff scheduling.
- Supports business development and marketing efforts.
- Reviews status of revenue cycle claim denials and patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner.
- Represents the clinic in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, and third-party payers.
- Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional atmosphere.
- Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
- Knowledge of general practice office operations management, basic accounting principles, cash flow and receivables management and human resource regulations to direct the business functions of the office.
- Sufficient knowledge of medical office billing procedures.
- Sufficient knowledge of practice policies and procedures to accurately answer questions from internal and external customers.
- Broad-based knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
- Preferred knowledge of Washington Workers Compensation and Occupational Medicine specialty.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
