Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer / Data Technology Leader to drive enterprise-scale data initiatives. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to lead multiple scrum teams and deliver large-scale data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple agile scrum teams delivering enterprise-level data solutions
- Design and implement scalable data architectures and workflows
- Administer and manage data preparation tools such as Alteryx, RapidMiner, and Tableau Prep
- Develop and optimize high-performance SQL / PL-SQL queries
- Build and maintain Python-based data processing and automation solutions
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Optimize workflow orchestration, scheduling, and task dependencies
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure scalability and reliability
- Mentor teams on best practices, performance tuning, and code quality
- Collaborate in a shared services environment to support cross-functional initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Technology roles
- Strong experience with data preparation, orchestration, and integration
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
- Strong expertise in SQL / PL-SQL performance tuning
- Experience with Airflow or similar batch processing tools
- Experience with OpenShift / containerized deployments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD automation and pipeline management
- Proven leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale data initiatives
Nice to Have
- Experience with Operational Insights
- Exposure to shared services environments
- Strong mentoring and team leadership skills
- Experience with large enterprise data governance models
