Job Summary
The Service & Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our dealership. This position is responsible for assisting customers with service and part inquiries, and fulfilling orders to support vehicle maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with service and parts inquiries.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock is organized and readily accessible.
- Schedule appointments for set up, maintenance and/or repairs.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to understand their parts needs for vehicle maintenance.
- Quote cost of maintenance & repairs.
- Process orders efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of parts to the service department.
- Keep up-to-date with new products, trends, and technologies in the marine industry.
- Communicate with manufactures regarding warranty claims & authorization
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or marine service or parts environment is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with marine maintenance processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain stock levels accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40, $52,000.00 per year
