About the Role:

As a Sr. Accountant at our Business Services company in New York City, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of our organization. Your major end result will be to provide accurate and timely financial information, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and drive business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, managing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and contribute to the overall financial planning and analysis of the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the Business Services industry.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.
