Business Analyst

About the Role:

The Business Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams to ensure that business needs are accurately captured and translated into actionable requirements. This role focuses on identifying gaps in current business processes and systems, analyzing data to support decision-making, and facilitating the development of effective solutions that drive organizational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead efforts in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, conducting data mapping and cleansing activities, and supporting user acceptance testing to validate solutions. By leveraging analytical tools and methodologies, the Business Analyst will help optimize workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of business services. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the alignment between business objectives and technology implementations, ensuring successful project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business analysis within the business services industry.
• Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience with gap analysis and business process modeling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for creating process diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with data mapping and data cleansing techniques.
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing methodologies and execution.
• Proficiency in using macros to automate repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum project environments.
• Advanced skills in data analytics tools or software.
• Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role within business services.
• Familiarity with SQL or other database querying languages.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements.

• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues related to business requirements and process changes.
