Position Summary:
Packs and weights finished product, operates the box maker, palletizes, and performs duties consistent with producing a value added finished product for the consumer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Packs finished product, operates box maker and palletizes using Good Manufacturing Procedures and proper safety procedures.
Uses proper packaging and appropriate code dates.
Performs tasks to minimize loss and prevent contamination of finished product.
Report all scrap usage to proper personnel.
Get product from the cooler and put in the rapid -pak (packaging machine)
Check product at the end of the line.
Key Activities:
Build pallets with product and taking pallets to the cooler with a hand-jack.
Make sure all equipment, floor is clean and sanitize prior to start the shift.
Assist Led man on daily activities.
Performs training as appropriate.
Completes documentation accurately as required
Effective communication with supervisors, employees, quality assurance and maintenance
Follows proper operating procedures.
Maintains proper documentation of product appearance and weight control.
Take samples for QA as required
Identifies, corrects and communicates product defects.
Work well and have a good communication with all other co-workers.
Responsible for any other activity as directed by supervisor.
Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position.
Follow GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.
Responsible for any other activity as directed by supervisor.

Necessary Experience:
High School or equivalent (preferred).
