Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate – V&V Appliance Parts, Inc.

Overview:

V&V Appliance Parts is over 60 years in business. We are an authorized distributor for Whirlpool, GE Appliances, Frigidaire, LG, Bosch, Samsung, and Speed Queen. Our brick and mortar footprint spans 4 states with 20 locations serving both retail and wholesale customers.

We are looking for a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate to join our growing organization and team. You’ll be working in a fast paced environment performing an array of functions that may include counter sales, looking up parts, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders.

Tasks and Duties:

-Assist walk-in/call-in customers in a friendly and positive manner

- Provide pricing and availability

- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues

- Process customer orders

- Pick orders for will call customers

- Assist in replenishing display items

-Check in daily customer orders, inventory and stock shelves

- Assist in maintaining professional appearance of store front including but not limited to: behind the counters and customer restroom, and customer parking area

· Assist shipping and receiving

· Unload trucks and checking in merchandise

· Prepares orders by pulling parts from stock; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

· Sort and place packages on racks, shelves or in bins to organizational standards

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, carry, grasp, type and write up to 8 hours a day

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Able to set appropriate priorities, respond to changes, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with daily demands

- Familiar with computer operation, data entry experience.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills to support team effort and needs of organization

· Full Time Hourly Position – Standard Business Hours

Qualification Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred

· Good communication, organizational, time management skills

· Dependable and Reliable

· Inventory, data entry and computer skills may be required

Physical Demands and Abilities:

· Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods

· Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-50lbs

Projected Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9am - 5pm

Sunday morning 9am - 12PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
