What You’ll Need
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
- Technical School Certification or post-secondary schooling that included training in math, blueprint reading, metalworking, and CAD/CAM.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial or mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with CNC machine operation strongly preferred or prior experience working with parts and equipment.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with hands on experience on CNC Machining.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains standard Bill of Materials and production Routings in ERP system database.
- Develops manufacturing methods for new components and assemblies utilizing customer drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Collaborates with planning and design staff concerning customer requirements, manufacturing considerations, and tooling to ensure development of efficient production methods.
- Works with management, engineering, and other staff regarding development/improvement of manufacturing capabilities, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Follows all applicable ISO standards and safety protocols including use of appropriate PPE.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
