Description: This scope of work is for consulting services to support the development, implementation, and life-cycle management of new and existing enterprise technologies required to support the Florida Department of Health, Office of Information Technology, Bureau of Enterprise Foundational Services, Cloud Support Team. Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Health (Department).
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and document server and multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) environments for EDAP.
- Perform daily monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Terraform automation and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and compliance.
- Design, secure, and maintain network connectivity including VNETs, VPNs, firewalls, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect.
- Integrate and support data platforms (Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, Dataiku) across Azure and AWS.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, storage, and costs, including tagging and chargeback models.
- Implement security baselines encryption, identity protection, key management, and RBAC to meet compliance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to migrate workloads, modernize infrastructure, and integrate cloud/on-prem systems.
- Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and provide knowledge transfer to staff.
- Provide status updates, participate in meetings, and support change management and governance processes.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience design i ng, implementing, and administering enterprise cloud environments in Azure and AWS, including architecture, security, and maintenance.
- 5 years as an enterprise administrator in an on-prem Windows Server Domain infrastructure.
- 5 years managing Azure Entra ID and AWS IAM, including policy design, RBAC, and secure federation.
- 5 years designing and maintaining multi-cloud environments with integrated cloud-native tools for data and analytics.
- 5 years of architecting and supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions across Azure and AWS.
- 5 years designing and managing cloud networking (VNETs, subnets, VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
- 5 years implementing and administering DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
- 5 years supporting cloud-based data tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, Dataiku) including setup, security, and integration.
- 5 years of developing and managing cloud tagging standards, cost optimization, and chargeback models.
- 5 years implementing identity, access, and policy management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- 5 years using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools for automated and secure infrastructure deployments.
- 2 years developing and maintaining disaster recovery, high availability, and security compliance configurations aligned with HIPAA, NIST, and Florida Administrative Code 60GG-2.
