Interior Plant Maintenance Technician | Horticulture Operations SpecialistPosition Overview:We are seeking a reliable, hands on Plant Care and Installation Technician to support interior and exterior plant maintenance accounts, oversee greenhouse organization and plant health, and assist with installation projects. This is a dynamic, multi faceted role ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, thrives in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in delivering polished, high quality work.This position is 3 to 4 days per week with the opportunity to grow into additional responsibility and hours over time. We are committed to recruiting and retaining top talent and creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported.Core Responsibilities:Plant Maintenance TechnicianDrive to client locations and maintain company vehicle in clean, professional conditionWater, prune, clean, and detail interior and exterior plantsManeuver water tanks and lift up to 50 pounds regularlyIdentify plant health concerns, pests, or deficiencies and report findings promptlyExecute maintenance routes efficiently with strong time managementRepresent the company in a positive and professional mannerUphold high customer service standards with a friendly, polished demeanorFollow direction carefully and complete assigned tasks thoroughlyGreenhouse OperationsMaintain plant health within the greenhouse environmentWater, plant, prune, and support integrated pest management effortsKeep greenhouse organized, clean, and operating efficientlyAssist with inventory care and preparation for upcoming installationsDemonstrate creative thinking and proactive problem solvingInstallation SupportAssist lead installer on plant and container installationsPick up materials and supplies as neededSupport job site setup and breakdownExecute assigned tasks with efficiency and attention to detailMaintain safety standards at all timesAdapt to shifting priorities and do what is needed to ensure project successQualifications and Traits:Must be 21 years of age or olderValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to consent to and pass a background checkReliable with dependable transportationPositive attitude and strong work ethicFriendly and professional presenceStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the dayWillingness to learn plant varieties and care techniquesBasic computer skills preferredTakes direction well and communicates clearlyAbout the Company:Midori Plantscapes is the interiors division of Uyeta Landscape, a well established, multi generational family business built on a legacy of quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
