Position Summary:
Develop and establish a strong restaurant customer base to sell products to on a recurring, regular basis. Continue to seek out new customer partnerships to increase sales within the King, Pierce, Whatcom, Skagit, Kitsap, Thurston, and Snohomish County areas.
Position’s Key Responsibilities:
- Call customers on a regular basis to establish a good working relationship, enhance sales and satisfy customers’ need to gain future sales.
- Maximize market share by maintaining current customer base and gaining new customers by providing excellent sales service.
- Gather information from clients to comprehend market demand and market conditions and to use this advantage for potential sales.
- Check accounts receivable statements bi-monthly to monitor any customers’ past due invoices.
- Discuss with the sales staff the necessity to visit past due accounts or work out a schedule of payments with customers to prevent further indebtedness and allow them to continue to order.
- Constantly be aware of “critical” items to anticipate shortage of merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Build strong and positive relationships with each customer to enhance sales and keep the business growing.
- Resolve customer complaints and/or problems in a timely manner. Consult management if necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Starting at $26.24/hr., Depending on Experience.
