Part-time, 60% FTE, 24 hours per week. Shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, or 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an ECMO Specialist to:
- Monitor, operate, and adjust ECMO circuits and the components to maintain patient specific parameters.
- Continually assess and evaluate ECMO circuit and troubleshoot any difficulties with communication to the ECMO team.
- Partner with ECMO Coordinators and Physician Leadership to advance the ECMO program to include quality improvement and education development.
- Assist in staff training and quality and outcome review to ensure alignment with the ELSO guidelines.
- Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory Care Required or
- Degree in Nursing Required or
- Graduate of Perfusion Program Required
- Baccalaureate degree Preferred
- 1 year of critical care experience Required
- 2 years of critical care experience Preferred
- Experience teaching patients and families Required
- Licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner AND RRT Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care Required or
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin Required or
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Licensed Perfusionist Required
- BLS/CPR certified Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or willingness to obtain Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or willingness to obtain Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or willingness to obtain Preferred
- Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) certification Preferred
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certification Preferred
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
