JOB TITLE:
Part-Time Custodian, UW Housing
JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned public spaces, meeting rooms, restrooms and offices under general supervision.
Job Schedule and Pay:
Work schedule is flexible and primarily performed Monday – Friday. Weekends are not required.
No more than 20 hours per week.
$14.00 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize common areas, offices, restrooms and meeting rooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom products.
- Operate custodial equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet extractors.
- Clean windows, remove trash, shovel snow, and outside clean-up.
- Set up conference rooms for meetings according to the posted schedule.
- Follow safety procedures.
- May turn on the lights and unlock the doors.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with students, staff and visitors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- GED or High School Diploma
