JOB TITLE:
Clinical Assistant Professor- School of Pharmacy
JOB PURPOSE:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Precept and teach four-week Ambulatory Care I and II Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience blocks throughout the calendar year (average is two students per rotation block for six months out of the year)
- Teach in the didactic setting on campus in team-taught courses during the academic year (Therapeutics course sequence, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacy Skills course sequence)
- Advise pharmacy students
- Engage in scholarly activity
- Serve on school, college and university and professional society committees
- Provide drug therapy management and direct patient care services for patients at an assigned family medicine clinic/practice site
- Engage in education activities for medical residents within family medicine residency programs associated with assigned practice site

WORK LOCATION:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited program • Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) or equivalent experience • Ambulatory Care clinic and/or Family Medicine work experience • Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in CO • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
