The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care and treatment of patients according to the standards of nursing practice and established Porter Medical Group policies and procedures. He/she will demonstrate a pleasant disposition to patients, families, and coworkers. Patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times. Job Requirements: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant RN experience in Cardiology preferred. Incentives: Position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $8,500, subject to terms, conditions, and change. This is a bargaining union position. University of Vermont Health - Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison County and the town of Brandon.
