- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Conduct diagnostic hearing and balance assessments as appropriate.
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for treatment and follow-up care.
- Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations and recommend appropriate amplification solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle.
- Fit, program, verify, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Provide patient education regarding hearing aid use, care, and maintenance.
- Perform hearing aid troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and follow-up care.
- Achieve hearing aid sales goals through ethical, patient-centered recommendations.
- Stay current with hearing aid technology and industry best practices.
