💡 What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement the facility’s education plan to support ongoing staff learning and development.
- Facilitate engaging in-service trainings, orientation programs, and skill development sessions.
- Lead the infection prevention and control program — monitor, educate, and ensure compliance with all standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to promote a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff across all departments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN or LPN license (or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred.
- Completion of an Infection Preventionist Certificate (can be completed upon hire).
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or healthcare required.
- Prior experience in education and/or infection prevention strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills; prior management experience a plus.
