What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Pharmacist - Outpatient Pharmacist position at UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital?
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply within seven (7) days of the posting date. After this period, all applicants will be considered equally.
Primary Shift: 0700-1530
Secondary Shift: 0900-1730, 1445-2315
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Each staff pharmacist is responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patients of the CVPH outpatient pharmacy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Skills Required:
1. BS Pharmacy & Registered Pharmacist (NYS) required.
2. Retail Pharmacy experience required.
3. Computer knowledge preferred.
As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
