Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Home Health Aide (HHA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care by assisting with personal care, mobility, activities of daily living, and other supportive services. This role promotes residents' independence, dignity, and well-being while helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Education & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Per diem commitment of at least two shifts per month.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals.
- Support residents with activities of daily living while encouraging independence and preserving dignity.
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to resident care.
- Complete assigned health-related tasks within the Home Health Aide scope of practice and organizational policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
Salary : $19 - $27
