Armed Security Officer
Uvalde Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. This position is responsible for patrolling hospital facilities, monitoring access points, responding to emergencies, conducting security escorts, and supporting overall hospital safety operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and observation skills, maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service and public safety. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Level III Security Certification required
- Peace Officer License preferred
- BLS Certification required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
- 1–3 years of security or law enforcement experience preferred
