What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Producer position at UVA Medical Center?
- Respond to web editor queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with weekly WordPress virtual support sessions, providing web editors with training, self-service options and communicate best practices to editors.
- Help enhance SOM Web Support site by creating screencast video tutorials and updating tutorials and guidelines to cover new feature enhancements.
- Assist with web editor email communication and virtual webinars.
- Monitor and maintain customer support requests, utilizing project management software to prioritize support issues.
- Perform site audits to address ADA compliance, deviations from brand standards, and highlight opportunities for UX/IA enhancements.
- Continue efforts to bring SOM sites and content up to AA ADA Accessibility compliance.
- Run weekly Siteimprove reports to detect issues that affect content quality, accessibility, and search engine optimization.
- Help create analytics reports for the School of Medicine content analytics dashboard
- Assist with photography and video production when needed.
- Special projects as assigned.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Licensure: None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
