Have you ever wanted to do something different as an MRI technologist?
UVA Imaging located in the beautiful city of Charlottesville VA, is expanding our Virtual MRI technologist coverage. With the high demand for technologists, UVA Imaging will be adding evening hours to our current Virtual MRI availability.
We are looking for an experienced MR tech to be the steering technologist, someone who has the ability to operate 2 MRI units with the help of patient facing MRTA staff. The physical location for this job is located in 415 Ray C Hunt, Charlottesville campus. (No remote scanning from home)
Position Status: full-time
Schedule: evening hours/2nd shift

Requirements
EDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
