Job Overview
We are a Cannabis Dispensary and Alternative Medicine store in Bozeman MT! We are seeking knowledgeable and friendly Marijuana Budtender's and Sales associates to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educating customers about our range of cannabis products and wide variety of alternative medicines and other products. You will assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for the cannabis industry, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized service.
- Educate customers about various cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences and needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Handle cash register duties, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years old and comply with all local laws regarding cannabis sales and have a marijuana workers permit, we can walk you through that process if needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and industry trends.
