The role requires excellent manual dexterity, the ability to work with hand tools and machinery, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
OPPORTUNITY
UTS Systems ,LLC is currently seeking applicants for the full-time Warehouse Associateposition at our Waynesboro, VA facility reporting to the Production Manager. The Company operates on a 10-hour / 4-day per week schedule with occasional overtime opportunities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Associate will be part of a team responsible for managing inventory and the inbound and outbound movements of that inventory to support the manufacturing and fulfillment of our shelters systems. This includes the following responsibilities.
- Receiving, unloading, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Inspecting incoming good for accuracy – quantity and quality
- Performing quality inspections in accordance with the UTS quality management system and reporting on exceptions.
- Storing, sorting, labeling, and organizing inventory for storage.
- Picking, preparing orders for fulfillment, such as picking and filling orders.
- Packing, wrapping, labeling, and packing orders for shipping.
- Shipping and preparing products for shipping and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Maintaining inventory controls through inventory organization and inventory counts according to the company’s inventory control procedures.
- Entering inventory transactions into the UTS computer system.
- Keeping quality standards high and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and order picking machines.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Following all safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.

· Ability to stand, bend, or lift heavy objects for extended periods.
· Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery with precision.
