Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor of Clinical Services - Meriden, CT

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor of Clinical Services to join our growing team in Meriden, CT!

About Us: Utopia Home Care is a Medicare certified, state licensed, medical home care agency that provides in-home nursing, therapy, and home health aide services throughout Connecticut. We have been family owned and operated since 1983 and currently serve over 1400 clients throughout the state!

The Supervisor of Clinical Supervisor is responsible for oversight of all clinical operations and quality assurance for their respective branch. This is a full time position, complete with competitive pay, benefits, and room to grow! The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, 8a-4p.

Supervisor of Clinical Services (Registered Nurse) Responsibilities:

• Oversight of clinical operations and quality assurance for Medicare certified branch
• Interviewing, hiring, orienting, supervising, and counseling professional Registered Nurse (RN) staff;
• Ensuring staff demonstrate compliance with regulatory, payer, and accreditation standards through documentation and direct patient care;
• Ensuring coordination of care with the multidisciplinary team, physicians, care coordinators, and treatment facilities;
• Oversight of nursing and therapy visit schedules to ensure the client plan of care is implemented in accordance with physician orders and supervisory requirements;
• Direct Client care as needed and assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.

Supervisor of Clinical Services Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must have previous homecare experience
• Must have an RN or BSN certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
• Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months OR be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.
