Utopia Home Care has opportunities for experienced Live-In Home Health Aides (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) who know how to provide excellent service and compassionate care for our patients who require Live-In services across the state of Connecticut.
Our Live-In caregivers provide care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and supervision in their homes around the clock, 7 days per week. This includes, bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders as well as homemaking and companionship. This position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for those who need it most, just like family. Qualifications:
Functional Requirements:
- Be able to turn, lift, and transfer clients.
- Able to carry bundles up stairs weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to stoop and bend.
- Visual / hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written and verbal communication.
- Provide direct care according to the established client plan of care.
- Bilingual Spanish a Plus!
*Sign on bonus to be paid after completion of 500 hours of employment.
