Utopia Home Care has opportunities for experienced Live-In Home Health Aides (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) who know how to provide excellent service and compassionate care for our patients who require Live-In services across the state of Connecticut.

Our Live-In caregivers provide care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and supervision in their homes around the clock, 7 days per week. This includes, bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders as well as homemaking and companionship. This position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for those who need it most, just like family.  If providing care for seniors and clients with disabilities comes from your heart, this position is for you!

Qualifications

Functional Requirements:

• Be able to turn, lift, and transfer clients.
• Able to carry bundles up stairs weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to stoop and bend.
• Visual / hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Provide direct care according to the established client plan of care.
• Bilingual Spanish a Plus!

*Sign on bonus to be paid after completion of 500 hours of employment.
