Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma and two years related experience required.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator provides administrative and technical assistance to
research team in all aspects of clinical research operations and ongoing research projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
the Sponsor; under direction of PI may draft various communications with Sponsor.
regulatory activities.
sponsored documents, which may include but not limited to laboratory certification.
inventory and equipment.
handling of test articles and clinical supplies.
requirements and reports back to Clinical Research Coordinator and/or PI with findings.
screening, eligibility and procedures are performed.
research specimens certified if indicated as per regulations.
assists with study initiation.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS :
phlebotomy; maintains temperature and QC logs per protocol compliance.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:
Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments.
OTHER:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification,
may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section
51.215, Texas Education Code.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
